Hello world.

It has definitely been a while. But don’t think I’ve forgotten you.

TRIANGLE OFFENSE. like I’ve said in the past, is a movement, which despite the handicap of being away from the team, being busy with school, and seemingly without rest, I have managed to keep up with. I mean, I’m sure you guys have caught Finesse and Sci at a show. I’m sure you’ve seen and felt, heard and experienced, the energy and intensity they bring to each and every one of those shows. They have absolutely killed it. And here I am, watching from a distance. Envious of the atmosphere: the sound of the audience’s anticipation, the sweet caress of that bass, the tachycardia that ensues as you speak your first few words of introduction, the fear setting in, everything.

Sci couldn’t have put it any better. Butterflies. Or in my case, dragonflies. I wanted that. I’ve missed it.

Then I get my chance. I was asked by a friend, Paolo, in early September if the team could perform for a venue he’s coordinating later that month or even early October. I told him that I was the only member of the group available, but that I would still love to do it. Soon enough, I was booked. However, the storm was yet to come. Literally.

Typhoon after typhoon, one I’ve previously wrote about and the four to five that have followed, decided to rain on my parade if you will. The date was pushed back from late September to seemingly, early “Nevuary.” I thought I lost my chance.

Nevertheless, we fought through the storm, through seemingly forty days of rain, to shine. We international now baby!

It was a Halloween party. With a good number of people in costume. Whether in bubbles or in geek glasses, Robin or Wonder Woman, they all came out to show love. And despite it being break with nearly everyone out of school and on vacation, as well as the fact that those who were not on vacation were probably planning to visit their dearly departed the following Sunday (All Souls Day), we had a decent turnout. And along with the performance, the party itself, was a blast. Thanks to everyone who made it out and showed us love. We really appreciate it.

So here it is. My contribution. To a worldwide movement.
